Does Ron Springs deserve all this attention?

Not long ago Ron Springs robbed his mother (in Florida) of her life's savings to support his drug habit and then came to Richardson, Texas where he stole an IBM Selectric typewriter from the Texas Employment Commission and was arrested by a State Trooper with the typewriter in his (Spring's) car trunk. Does this sound like the behavior of a man? Is Spring deserving of Everson Wall's donated kidney? Why didn't Springs do a stretch in the Texas Prison System? Do you find this valuable?
