2008 Volvo V70
The first images of Volvo's largest wagon have been unveiled, via a camera phone. The new wagon will adopt many of the changes that the new S80 has received. There are also rumors that Volvo will release a V-8 V70R!

Front end OK, Side view acceptable, good proportions, rear view, how about a SUBARU ? Inside, prefer the actual version. New 6 cylinder engine, technical issues, sound good, perfomance 400Nm torque is fine. Well, the upcomming Sales Figures will inform us pretty soon, if the swedes, for the 2009 issue, should not already today start thinking about a rear end modifaction, something like the actual version maybe ?

I have been considering the Audi A6 Wagon but after seeing the new 2008 Volvo V-70 I think I'll wait for the Volvo. I love the look, especially the new front end. Some type of rear spoiler could improve the looks further. If it is bigger inside as well then that is a bonus as the Audi has less cargo space than the current V70. Bring on an AWD V8 version. AM

I'm a 850 wagon owner and that model not nearly as nice as the V when it came out the next year. I had wished I had held off one more year. However, anyone buying a 2007 would not be as disappointed. I really don't like the 2008 at all. Not just from its looks but from too much 'Ford' under the covers. This new model is has more Ford and Mazda in it then Volvo which is a crime IMHO
