2008 Ford Focus
Ford has released photos of the new 2008 Focus. The styling is all-new and for the first time ever there will be a coupe variant. This new car looks a lot better than the current version and the Chevy Cobalt. Sales will most likely increase as long as Ford fixed the quality issues with the current Focus. Will it out sell a Civic or Corolla? Probably not. But at least this shows that Ford is trying..finally!

What was Ford thinking? Just when hatchbacks appear to be making a comeback, Ford drops that model.
I never warmed up th the tailights in the sky looks of the Focus hatchback and kept waiting for a restyle of the rear of the car. Rather than fix the issue, Ford chooses to drop the model. Whoever made that desision should be fired, without the golden parachute! I welcome the coupe model, but doupt it is going to replace the utility of a hatchback. Well Honda and Toyota will be glad to fill in the void in the model line-up! |
