2007/08 VW Passat R36
VW is testing the Passat R36 version in Germany. They are testing both sedan and wagon versions. Notable changes are the different lower grilles and the twin exhaust pipes. The car is rumored to have between 280-300 horsepower when it is revealed next spring.

Personally I feel VW is following all the other manufacture body styles. VW cars are starting to look like TOYOTA's and HONDA's. I remember a time a long time ago and not so long ago when you could tell a VW is a VW from miles away (distinct shape). Now it looks like every other car on the road (except for the Beetle, Golf, and Rabbit).
